When I went for The Ugly Truth screening that Nuffnang gave me tickets to, the Julie & Julia movie trailer came up and I remember thinking to myself, "I must definitely catch the movie no matter what!" Sounds so fake and advertorial-ish, but it's definitely not!
Because of the cooking scenes in the movie trailer, I was reminded of this recent incident that happened while I was baking cookies. It was, in my opinion, the most disastrous cooking experience even though it wasn't exactly disastrous.
It happened like this.
One fine day, I decided to bake cookies. After mixing everything and preheating the oven, I arranged the batter onto the baking pan and put it into the oven. BUT, 2 minutes into baking, there was a black out.
Erm, just in case you thought my whole house experienced a black out, it was my oven that blacked out. What happened was that my oven sort of shortcircuited and my cookies were still, raw? LOL. In the end, after trying to off and on my oven for numerous times, I gave up and left the batter in the fridge.
When I woke up the next day, my oven miraculously "recovered" so I continued the baking from the night before. But the batter turned a little watery and the cookies did not turn out as nice as it was suppose to be. =/ And if I'm not wrong, I didn't finish the cookies at all because I didn't really like it.

Remember to catch Julie & Julia in cinemas when it's out! I love Meryl Streep in Devil Wears Prada. =DDD
With Love, FIONA
